Hello folks! I do hope this post finds you healthy and happy! I have some exciting news to share, and it all came a bit by accident. As you know I make custom clips for folks who desire my imagination to bring their ideas to life. This film, Wardrobe Mistress Miss Iceni punishes lippy actress Leia Ann Woods when she gets too big for her boots!, came from the fabulous mind of my good friend Hawkeye, a name some of you might be familiar with! I am not sure how much the gentlemen knows about my theatrical past (namely a short ballet career), but the script he sent for this film really struck home for me because of my background alone. However, this was not the only reason! Because when I was young, my favourite book to read was Ballet Shoes. I don’t know how much you all know about this story by Noel Streatfield but the script as I read it felt like a take on Pauline Fossil’s story, who had a genuine talent for acting but had to learn some hard lessons about humility and ego. It was for this reason this film was a particular delight to make, and such was my feeling about the Ballet School connotations, I actually put a paragraph about it at the top of the script! So you might be wondering now what the story actually entails (if you are not too busy looking up the plot to Ballet Shoes!!), so here it is:
Leia is a bright lady who has been carving out her acting career for a couple of years now. When she lands a plum starring role in a large theatre with a very renowned director, she could not be more thrilled. The only trouble is, she cannot seem to learn the script! On top of that, the starring role has gone straight to Leia’s head and she is soon ordering the wardrobe mistress (Miss Iceni) around to fetch her lunch and refreshments. Well, finally Leia goes too far and Miss Iceni has had enough. She hauls Leia to her feet and pulls her across her knee. It is high time Leia had her bottom spanked for her haughty manner. Miss Iceni spanks Leia over her knickers, and then pulls them down to spank her more over her bare bottom. Leia, however is indignant and hurls more insult Miss Iceni’s way, resulting in the hairbrush for Leia’s bottom, which draws out apologies and promises to do better.
A few days later, Leia is struggling to learn her script, and throws it on the floor in temper. Miss Iceni clearly needs to take control of this madam, who Miss Iceni believes needs some discipline in her life. Miss Iceni offers to help Leia learn her lines, using corporal punishment as an incentive; every time Leia gets her lines wrong, Miss Iceni punishes Leia on her bottom. Leia agrees.
Leia’s first attempt results in her receiving 12 of the yardstick on her bottom. This should have been enough to spur Leia on to do better, however Leia fails once more, causing Miss Iceni to apply the split strap on Leia’s bottom, this time kneeling on the stool. When Leia fails a third time, Miss Iceni decides to try the hairbrush, after all it worked the other day! Unfortunately Leia tries Miss Iceni’s patience once more and she puts Leia in an exposed position to receive her strap and think about what she has to do to learn the script.
Leia does knuckle down and learn her lines, however, there is a section in the script where she is to take a caning on stage. Leia has never had the cane before, and thinks she would be best experiencing it before taking it on stage. Miss Iceni agrees and gives Leia 12 searing strokes on her bottom, while Leia touches her toes. Leia’s bottom is VERY sore after all this punishment!
After this harsh punishment, Miss Iceni relents and puts Leia across her knee, this time to have some cream rubbed in her sore bottom, while she prepares for the show with one more run-through of the script.
Unfortunately, Leia ends up running late, and with no time to get dressed fully, the padded knickers she was due to wear are missing! Leia must go on stage and take her punishment in thin cotton knickers! This turns out well for Leia however, when she receives rave reviews for her performance on stage! It would seem some discipline has really focused Leia’s mind!
